The New York Titans topped the Washington Senators, 2-1, in Eastern Conference action at The ESPN Zone. The standout performance belonged to New York pitcher and Sunrise Manor, Nevada, native Salvatore Castellon. Pierre Prent got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The second-place Titans hiked their record to 36-26.
Zahi Cobo, who finished 2nd in the EC in slugging percentage with .583 in 2081, had a direct impact on the outcome. Cobo contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put New York up, 2-1.
"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Castellon told the New York Today.
