The Buffalo Rangers handed the Maine Lobster a sound defeat, 11-3, at Bison Stadium. Charlie Cole was a main contributor to the win. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 3 for Buffalo. Buffalo is now 38-27.

The Rangers got a big hit from center fielder Jose Puga. Facing Maine pitcher Chris Wood in the bottom of the sixth, Puga pounded a bases-clearing double to right. His 10th double of the season put the Rangers ahead, 11-1.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Puga.
