The Seattle Arrows had to overcome a fine effort from Denver pitcher Taxi Sabala to win, 5-4, at Mountain Dew Park. Sabala went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Aaron Narduzzi finished the game for Seattle and earned his 9th save. The 4th-place Arrows improved to 34-34.

Dave Rivera drew 3 walks for Seattle. The 25-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jeremy Lanham. It was his 28th walk of the season.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Rivera, "and then get after it again."
