Friday, November 21st, 2008: Power add Zed
The Dallas Power announced today that they had come to terms with embattled pitcher David Zed on a two-year deal worth a total of $22 Million. Media outlets have expressed doubt at the addition of Zed, whose poor behavior and selfish attitude have nearly cost him his baseball career twice before.

"We're confident that David can be a productive teammate," stated Power GM Anthony Keence at a press conference yesterday. "We believe he will be the final piece that brings us a Championship next year."

The Power, who lost the League Championship to the Philadelphia Spectres in 9 games, will field a formidible rotation next year. However, it's difficult to judge Zed by his short performance in the NPB the last two years. Once the most highly touted prospect in RSL history, it will be interesting to see if he's even capable of getting major league hitters out.
