Houston, Seattle Deal Made Sunday, November 25th , 2085 The Houston Aquas and Seattle Arrows have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. Houston will part with 26-year old LHP Yukichi Jimbo, while the Arrows have dealt 25-year old LHP Victor Romero, 24-year old 2B Robby Carloto, and 21-year old RHP Tony Aguilar. "This one took a while to figure out," said Houston general manager Brandon Coroian. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs." Since he broke in, Jimbo has picked up 4 wins and 4 losses with 1 save. He has posted a 3.93 ERA and recorded 100 strikeouts in 123.2 innings. Over his career Romero has made his way to the mound for 170 appearances, logging 10 saves, 218 strikeouts, a record of 15-14 and an ERA of 5.17. |
