Season Over for David Morales in Havana Friday, April 20th , 2085 The doctors have spoken and David Morales of the Havana Metropolitanos didn't like what he heard. The 26-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Morales sustained his season-ending injury during the Maine Lobster game yesterday at Ballpark of Portland. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Havana medical staff reported Morales had a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months. |
