Lafontaine Strokes 5 Hits Thursday, May 17th , 2085 It was a parade of hits for Allen Lafontaine of the Brooklyn Browns at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Lafontaine finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Browns to a win, 18-3. "Lafontaine was really good and we were really bad," groaned Spectres manager Ryan Huff. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Allen Lafontaine hit an RBI single in the 1st, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jeong Lee in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Gary Banks in the 9th.
