Fondin Goes 5-for-5 Against Santiago Saturday, May 26th , 2085 Lobster catcher Roberto Fondin had his way with Santiago pitching at Estadio Guillermón Moncada and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Avispas ruined his great day by toppling the Lobster, 13-10. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Santiago credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Fondin did today," Avispas skipper Jacob Pauly said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Roberto Fondin hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jose Nereida in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
