Seattle-Havana Trade: Zapien for Niu Sunday, June 17th , 2085 In a hastily called press conference, Seattle announced today a trade with Havana that will send 23-year old RHP Alex Zapien, 26-year old LHP Jimmy Scott, 22-year old C John Norris, and 24-year old LF Jordan Alvarez to the Metropolitanos in exchange for 33-year old CF Cristovão Alvelo, 23-year old RHP Chua chay Niu, 25-year old RHP Fai Kuang, 26-year old LF Ryushi Oki, and 24-year old LHP Midori Murakami. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. So far this season, Zapien has a 6-5 record, 13 starts, 84.2 innings, 77 strikeouts and a 3.08 ERA. |
