Rangers Trade Sanchez to Athletics for Tanton Sunday, June 17th , 2085 Buffalo and Kansas City have agreed in principle to a trade. The Rangers will send 24-year old RHP Roberto Sanchez, 19-year old RHP Les de Jonge, 20-year old 2B Kyosuke Kusano, a 1st round draft pick, a 2nd round draft pick, a 3rd round draft pick, a 5th round draft pick, and a 6th round draft pick to the Athletics for 24-year old RHP Al Joly and 28-year old RHP Gerald Tanton. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. In 9 starts this season, Tanton has recorded a 1-2 record and a 4.69 ERA. |
