Seattle-Vancouver Announce Swap Sunday, June 24th , 2085 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Seattle Arrows and the Vancouver Wolves. In the deal Seattle got 20-year old RF Felix Ortega, 19-year old RHP Ron Lindaman, 19-year old RHP Adam Zimmerle, 32-year old RHP Andy Miao, 34-year old RHP Manny Arango, 31-year old RHP Bill Lawson, 28-year old 2B Matt Szymanski, 26-year old SS Travis Glazebrook, 26-year old RHP Sergio Vega, 41-year old RHP Satoyuki Kimura, a 9th round draft pick, a 10th round draft pick, a 11th round draft pick, and a 12th round draft pick from Vancouver and dealt nothing to the Wolves. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." On the year, Glazebrook has hit .245 with no home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 7 runs. |
