WC Announces Player of the Week Monday, June 25th , 2085 Not every ball that came off Alexjandria Leija's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Denver Glaciers. For his exploits, Leija was named this week's Western Conference Player of the Week award. The Denver third baseman put up 12 hits in 24 at-bats and 2 home runs while hitting .500 with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This season, Leija has hit at a .361 clip and produced 30 RBI, 8 home runs and 41 runs. |
