Dragons Halt Hall Jr. Hit Streak Tuesday, July 3rd , 2085 It just wasn't Dodger Hall Jr.'s day. The Toronto Juggernauts grabbed the 2-1 win over the Portland Dragons, but the Dragons mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 20-game hitting streak of Juggernauts shortstop Dodger Hall Jr.. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Hall Jr.," Portland manager Greg Carpenter commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Juggernauts have other hitters and they did their job today." So far this year, Hall Jr. is batting .319 with 1 home run. |
