Farfan, Monjes Swap Clubs Sunday, July 7th , 2080 The Maine Lobster announced a deal with the Greens today, sending 36-year old RHP Zach Baiza, 27-year old C Matt Arias, 27-year old 2B Jonathan Farfan, and 37-year old 3B Jessie McMenemy to Boston for 32-year old SS Willie Monjes and 21-year old LF Steve Stout. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly. Hitting .264 to date, Farfan has no home runs and 22 RBIs. He has played in 74 games. Batting .251 to date, Monjes has 1 home run and 23 RBIs. |
