San Diego, New York Agree to Swap Sunday, July 7th , 2086 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Destroyers and Titans have agreed to a swap. New York will get 35-year old LHP Kurt Bozek with San Diego receiving 22-year old minor league RF Ricardo Herrera and 28-year old minor league RHP Mike Alfonso in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. This year, his season stats show Bozek has 7 saves in 46 relief appearances with a 3-3 record and 2.96 ERA. |
