Spectres End Cobo Streak Monday, July 29th , 2086 Lady Luck was not on the side of Zahi Cobo or his teammates at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Everything went the way of the Philadelphia Spectres, who not only came away with the 6-4 victory over New York, but also held Cobo hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Cobo said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." This season, Cobo is batting .325 with 12 home runs. |
