Deal: Maarschalkerweerd for Mejia Sunday, July 26th , 2076 The New York Titans have finalized a deal with the Portland (E) Lobster for the services of 33-year old LHP Pablo Mejia. In exchange, the Lobster will receive 24-year old minor league RHP Mark Lau, 23-year old minor league RHP Yoshihiro Yamashiro, 23-year old minor league RHP Chikafusa Kura, 29-year old minor league C Alexis Paez, and 29-year old minor league 2B Mark Maarschalkerweerd. Maarschalkerweerd has a lifetime average of .269, has played in 442 games, and has collected 11 home runs and 143 RBIs. This season Mejia has accumulated no saves, registered a 2.12 ERA and struck out 43 in 29.2 innings. He also has a 4-1 record in 30 relief appearances. |
