Cincinnati designated hitter Bryan Ferris has now extended his hitting string to 25 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 5 at-bats as the Cincinnati won the game, 13-3, over the Philadelphia Spectres at Sony Field at Philadelphia. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Bryan Ferris singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year, Ferris is batting .273 with 24 home runs and 69 RBIs. |
