Stephenson Wins EC Top Pitcher Award Thursday, August 1st , 2080 Stuart Stephenson really put his best foot forward in July with 4 wins and no losses and walked off with the Pitcher of the Month honors in the Eastern Conference. When he got the start for the Montreal Harfangs, it was good news for his club, but bad news for the opposition. In 35 innings of work, Stephenson limited opposing batters to 25 base hits and a .195 batting average. He notched 40 strikeouts, issued 8 walks and had a 1.80 ERA.
