Marquee Month for Brocklebank, Top EC Rookie Thursday, August 1st , 2080 Youngster Lloyd Brocklebank emerged as the latest Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month today. The young man from St. Louis deserved the honor, batting .337 with 10 home runs and 25 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Brocklebank enjoy the limelight. Brocklebank is hitting at a .225 mark this season. His stats show 25 home runs, 64 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has played 105 games for the Gaedels. |
