Zendejas's Strong Week Earns EC Trophy Monday, August 28th , 2084 24-year-old Alex Zendejas sent shock waves through Rising Star League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Eastern Conference Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Zendejas made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .464 average, 13 hits in 28 at-bats, 6 home runs and 11 RBI. Where the Havana Metropolitanos left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Zendejas certainly made his mark last week. This season, Zendejas is hitting .263 with 19 home runs. |
