Deal: Sakai for Lund Sunday, August 4th , 2080 After a week of negotiations, the Stars and Destroyers have come to terms on a deal that will send 29-year old LHP Rin Sakai to San Diego for 22-year old minor league C Whip Lund and 19-year old minor league RHP Freddie Pye. Up to now Sakai has recorded a record of 5-8. In 20 starts he has fanned 117 batters in 129.2 innings with a 4.23 ERA. |
