New York Trades Kubina to Washington for King Sunday, August 4th , 2080 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Titans and Senators have agreed to a swap. Washington will get 20-year old LF Mark Kubina, a 3rd round draft pick, and a 4th round draft pick with New York receiving 32-year old RHP Keung King in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. This season, King has 24 saves with a 6-2 mark and 1.45 ERA. |
