Los Angeles Stars Ship Holguin to Washington Sunday, August 4th , 2080 The Los Angeles Stars have parted ways with 33-year old LHP Johnny Wickwire, 38-year old RHP Eliecer Cervantes, 27-year old RHP Mike Woolfrey, 35-year old RHP Shunsen Maekawa, 26-year old 1B Robby Holguin, and a 2nd round draft pick in a trade with the Washington Senators for nothing. Stars general manager Kaers confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. This year, Holguin is batting .248 with 52 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 18 times and has batted in 26 runs. |
