Tigre Makes 300 Mark Tuesday, September 5th , 2084 Minneapolis's outstanding first baseman Leonilde Tigre joined the 300 home run club today at Minneapolis Grounds with a booming blast in the Vikings win over the Spectres. They topped Philadelphia 9-5. On his milestone day Tigre had 1 hit in 3 at-bats with 1 run batted in and 2 runs scored. Tongue-in-cheek he told the press, "Don't tell me when I get close to the next milestone. Just tell me after I reach it. It will be easier to hit that way."
