Season Possibly Over for Vito Pels Saturday, September 9th , 2084 A blow for Vito Pels today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a torn labrum. Pels suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Chicago Phantoms are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Pels's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year, Pels has recorded a 8-8 mark. In 23 starts he has fanned 98 batters in 117.2 innings with a 4.67 ERA. |
