Augustine Belts 5 Hits Friday, September 15th , 2084 The Kansas City Athletics stopped the Los Angeles Stars by a score of 12-3 at Stars Ballpark, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Trevor Augustine. The 24-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Augustine said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Augustine did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Stars. "Not much that I can say," offered Los Angeles manager Pat Kaers. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Trevor Augustine hit a three-run home run off Kingsley Bozek in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
