Vancouver Loses Anaximander McKay, Will Miss Season Friday, September 22nd , 2084 The Vancouver Wolves and their fans were rocked today by the news that star second baseman Anaximander McKay would miss the rest of the season due to injury. McKay was hurt in a recent game against the San Francisco Friars while running the bases. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a strained posterior cruciate ligament. His doctors think that McKay will miss about 7 weeks. On the year, McKay is hitting .312 with 67 hits, 3 home runs, 26 RBIs, .411 OBP and has scored 38 runs. |
