Boston Devastated by Playoff Elimination Friday, September 29th , 2084 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Boston Greens. Club manager Matt Glazer said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Boston last appeared in the postseason in 2069. This is their 15th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 79 times in their 95-year history.
