Rehab Road Tough for Kings Matt Nyholm
Wednesday, September 23rd , 2076
Kings starting pitcher Matt Nyholm has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for a mild shoulder strain. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Baltimore told BNN Matt Nyholm would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least 5 days.
Nyholm has a 1-8 season record so far. In 17 starts, he has fanned 70 batters in 107.2 innings with a 3.26 ERA.
