Bozek Named Top EC Hurler Thursday, October 1st , 2076 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Kurt Bozek of the Brooklyn Browns. He captured the Eastern Conference Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in September. Bozek started 6 games, threw 39 innings, yielded 34 hits and logged a 5-1 record. He put down 31 batters on strikes, walked 14 and compiled a 1.85 ERA. Opposing teams batted .234 against him. This year Bozek has compiled a 14-7 record with a 3.66 ERA. |
