"We put ourselves in this position," said Avispas left fielder Dave Yerges. "Nobody to blame but us." Santiago last appeared in the postseason in 2074. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 28 times in their 32 - year history.
