Phoenix left fielder Billy Morf had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Portland Dragons, 15-12. Phoenix pitcher Kelly Lazell earned the win, hiking his record to 3-1. Marco Buenrostro suffered the loss. Portland is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 11 games.

Lucas Pamatz's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning was a big one for Phoenix. Coming to bat with no one out, a runner on 2nd and Phoenix trailing 10-9, the right fielder hit a run-scoring single.
