Kelly Goes 5-for-6 Against Montreal Saturday, October 3rd , 2076 5 times is the charm -- at least for Eddie Kelly. The Brooklyn Browns second baseman tore up the Montreal Harfangs to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Mount Royal Park today. The offensive onslaught from Kelly powered the Browns to a 11-1 win. "Kelly was a tough out today," Montreal manager Brendan Henry said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Eddie Kelly singled in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Bryce Peckham in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
