5-Hit Blitz by Trahan Friday, May 4th , 2085 Even as a kid, Eric Trahan said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Homesteads Ballpark, Trahan showed how well he learned that lesson. The 23-year-old left fielder had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Anchorage Homesteads, helping his team knock off the Anaheim Rage by a score of 11-1. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did." Eric Trahan singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Steve Pohlman in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
