The future looks extremely bright for David Campos. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in RSL Triple A.
Campos has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Beta Conference Outstanding Hitter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .348 this year, that's for sure," the third baseman said.
The Santa Ana Broncs star also put up a .455 on-base percentage this year, with 113 hits, 20 doubles, 1 triple, 28 home runs, 86 RBIs and 76 runs scored.
He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jesus Pena of the Huntington Beach Drummers finished second in voting, while Carlos Cavazos of the Hamilton Argonauts finished third.
