Broncs Crowned Kings of the Beta Conference
Sunday, August 25th , 2080
The Santa Ana Broncs are the class of the Beta Conference.
With their record sitting at 85-43, the club officially captured the division title today for the 18th time.
"Every guy in the room has worked towards this goal all year long," said the club's manager. "I'm proud to call this my team."
The club will now go in search of their 9th RSL Triple A championship.
"It's not going to be easy, but winning the League Championship is our ultimate goal," said reliever Zee-loo Kim.

Cannons Come up Short of Playoffs

Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Calgary Cannons. Club manager said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2073. In total, the Cannons have missed the playoffs 79 times in their 91-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cannons have missed the playoffs 8 times. Calgary has won the League Championship 2 times in their history.

No Late-Season Magic Coming: Riverside Out of Playoffs

Riverside Spinners first baseman Arlen Fennell said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2080 postseason contention.
The Spinners have missed the playoffs 34 times in their 36 years as a RSL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2077. In the last 10 seasons, the Spinners have missed the playoffs 8 times.
