Sun Devils Woodward Smacks 5 Hits Saturday, May 19th , 2085 John Woodward had an answer for everything the Akron Pickets threw at him at Ballpark of Akron. The San Bernadino right fielder went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Sun Devils a win, 14-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Woodward said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." John Woodward hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
