5-Hit Blitz by Capucho Sunday, June 10th , 2085 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Salomão Capucho of the Akron Pickets had one such moment at Ballpark of Akron, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Akron succumbed to defeat, 8-7, to the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 25-year-old designated hitter told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game." Salomão Capucho singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Mike O'Keefe in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
