Homesteads Gong Lopan to Miss Year Friday, June 15th , 2085 A blow for Gong Lopan today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a stretched elbow ligament. Lopan suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Anchorage Homesteads are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Lopan's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year, Lopan has posted a record of 2 wins and 2 losses with a 5.09 ERA. He has appeared in 10 games and struck out 33 in 40.2 innings. |
