Season-Ending Injury for Steve McFarlen Tuesday, June 19th , 2085 The season is finished for Steve McFarlen of the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Chinooks starting pitcher suffered a ruptured finger tendon while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the San Antonio Texicans. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. This season, McFarlen has fanned 45 in 64 innings and collected a 5-2 record with a 2.67 ERA. |
