5-Hit Game for Mugo Wednesday, June 20th , 2085 All game long, Saint Petersburg's Mezyan Mugo was rattling the walls at Red Wings Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Anchorage Homesteads. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Red Wings had a win, 8-5. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 22-year-old second baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Mezyan Mugo singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and doubled in the 7th. For the year, Mugo is batting .299 with 14 home runs.
