Paul Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, June 22nd , 2085 Julian Paul, right fielder for the Huntington Beach Drummers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 12-8 victory over the Akron Pickets at Ballpark of Akron. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Julian Paul singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th and singled in the 7th. This season, Paul is batting .342 with 66 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 34 times and has 30 RBI. |
