AC's Top Hitter Selected Sunday, July 1st , 2085 When Jonathan Johnsen stepped up to the plate in June he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Alpha Conference Batter of the Month award. The young Anchorage third baseman posted a .420 batting average with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 17 runs. Johnsen also worked pitchers for 12 walks to post a .480 on-base percentage. So far this season, Johnsen is hitting .339 with 17 home runs. |
