Nonaka: Big Hit in the Beta Conference Monday, July 1st , 2080 Pitchers who faced the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks last week were happy to see Eishin Nonaka in the rear-view mirror. The 28-year-old center fielder was dubbed the Beta Conference Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .409 clip. For the week he also chalked up 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season, Nonaka is batting .223 with 12 home runs. His totals include 32 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
