Chugiak-Eagle River's Obradovic to Retire
Monday, July 8th , 2080
Pete Obradovic said he would rather walk away from the game than be forced out of it.
At 40 years of age, the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks starting pitcher today announced that this season will be his last.
"I'm happy to get out with my health still intact and at a young enough age where I can look forward to the rest of my life," Obradovic said.
In his career, Obradovic has compiled an ERA of 3.56 with 150 victories and 114 defeats and has held opponents to a .243 batting average. He also has struck out 2196 batters in 2513 innings and given up 2315 hits.
