Dave Cormier Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Wednesday, July 3rd , 2086 Rochester second baseman Dave Cormier could miss the remainder of the season because of a ruptured medial collateral ligament. He exited yesterday's Norfolk game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Cormier would be out 9-10 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." |
