Zagal on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, July 22nd , 2086 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alpha Conference, but last week Eddie Zagal of the Norfolk Thorns reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Zagal rocked opposing pitching for a .583 average (14-for-24), no home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. On the year, Zagal is hitting .297 with 94 hits, 1 home run, 27 RBIs, .414 OBP and has scored 49 runs. |
