Tigercats Yoandri Sabates to Miss Year Friday, July 24th , 2076 The season is finished for Yoandri Sabates of the Oxnard Tigercats. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Tigercats starting pitcher suffered a fractured elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Jersey City Sea Serpents. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal. To this point in the season, Sabates shows a 3-5 record, 18 starts, 79.1 innings, 57 strikeouts and a 3.52 ERA. |
