Santa Ana's Pineda Acclaimed Best BC Hitter Thursday, August 1st , 2080 Tony Pineda made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Beta Conference this past month. The Santa Ana Broncs designated hitter shined through the month of July and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .361 with 4 home runs, 23 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Thus far this season, Pineda has hit .331 with 4 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 24 times. |
