Noda Strokes 5 Hits Wednesday, August 23rd , 2084 Who needs batting practice? Apparently not Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks center fielder Dairon Noda, who missed the team's pre-game session at Traders Ballpark but peppered the Lincoln Traders for 5 hits come game time. The Chinooks went on to grab the 8-5 win. "I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often." Dairon Noda struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
