Chinooks Shoitsu Muranaka Will Miss Season Tuesday, July 28th , 2076 Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks left fielder Shoitsu Muranaka left yesterday's game against the Chesapeake Rams after suffering a torn posterior cruciate ligament running the bases. Muranaka was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Muranaka is expected to miss 10 months. Muranaka is hitting .251 this season with 8 home runs, 34 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 64 hits in 255 at-bats. |
